The nature of TOEIC test isn’t for academic purpose. Many test takers just want to pass this test, no matter with a high score or low score. For them a basic or minimum set of TOEIC words is expected. To select a set of words that are must-have to pass TOEIC test is difficult. But if we allow 10 or 20 percent mistakes, there are still some basic TOEIC word lists deserved to recommend.
