Questions for TOEIC Vocabulary Exercise

When you study TOEIC words, you probably want to have some questions to practice. This web site provides one of the most common word exercise style: single choice from multiple options. Basically it’s a match practice; the question itself is the word and the options are candidate definitions. Anyone who has experience of language study can play these practices with zero training. Besides, you will have different experience to do single choice practices on webpage rather than traditional paper sheet. The interactive and intelligent responses will improve your efficiency and increase your productivity.

Because some people don’t build vocabulary when preparing TOEIC test and some people dislike any sort of quiz in study, we assume you know how TOEIC vocabulary is important in all parts of test, and you used to study and review words with lots of exercises. This the prerequisite we recommend single choice questions of TOEIC vocabulary. Basically all TOEIC word lists have this feature. At any group webpage, you can see a Match button, click it, the according single choice practice page will be opened. The rest thing, to choose an answer from 4 options, doesn’t need any more instruction.

You should know these questions are just to help you study vocabulary. They aren’t real or sample TOEIC test questions and cannot help you to be familiar with TOEIC test style. Don’t misunderstand that TOEIC’s real questions are as similar as these quizzes. No, our questions are just to practice words.

There are 4 TOEIC word lists available for separate circumstances. At beginning, we suggest from the easy one: 1200 Basic TOEIC Words. This list has 5 groups in total. The first 3 groups' links are as following.
If you feel you know most of them, don’t waste time any more, you should move to a serious list, such as 3000 TOEIC Vocabulary. This list covers a full and difficult set of words. The single choice questions based on it will enrich your TOEIC vocabulary skill to a high level. All words in this list are categorized into 14 groups. The links of its first 3 groups are as following.
Most of TOEIC test takers are non-English speakers. They prefer to use home language to explain new English words. In some TOEIC word lists we offer definitions of 20 languages to help test takers learn new words with bilingual definitions: English plus home language. Every word in 3000 TOEIC Vocabulary has multiple language definitions that can be merged to questions’ options. They are great assets for non-English people. We show links that include definitions of Japanese, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Korean respectively. Basically there are 20 languages are ready to select. At question page, you can change to own native language any time. (For each language, only first 3 groups are listed.)
