Some people believe that specific individuals are born with leadership qualities, while others believe leadership skills can be learned. I think the ability to be a good leader is naturally acquired because most famous leaders did not undergo any leadership training, even though a few people in positions of authority got there through successful mentorship.

Many great leaders in history started exhibiting the qualities of a leader at an early age and are usually raised along that line without the need for former education at leadership schools. Many are easily spotted at elementary schools or community gatherings and are made representatives. A good example is the popular Yakubu Gowon, a former president of Nigeria, who was made a leader at the age of ten years in his village because of his exceptional leadership characteristics, and he progressed this way to be a president.
