Some people think the Olympic Games are one of the most crucial bonds among various countries, though a considerable amount of money spent on this activity remains a heated controversy. From my perspective, I strongly support the idea that the Olympic Games are an exciting event and can bring nations together.

On the one hand, many taxpayers believe that the Olympic Games have been heavily invested in too much money. It means that other public services that should have been given priority may be neglected. For instance, a significant number of manpower, materials, and infrastructure are arranged for preparing for the Olympic Games rather than paying more attention to other social problems, such as the polarization of the rich and the poor, supplementary of disadvantaged areas, and other dilemmas.
