Television is good entertainment for adults. But its pros and cons for children have been a question for a long time. Some people believe it is unsuitable for children to watch television in all ways, whereas others think it helps develop their growth. I believe both points are correct, as explained in the following essay.

To begin with, some people think watching television has some significant disadvantages, mainly because many TV programs are not produced for children. For example, children who watch Wrestling programs often tend to imitate this. Hence, they start fighting with friends or other students in class. Moreover, these entertainments make them more addictive and less concentrated in studies. In real life, children quickly learn negative actions, behaviors, or styles from TV programs, like action and thriller movies. Letting children watch TV at large without adequate monitoring and practical guidelines would be hazardous.
