Because of the advancement in the medical and health sectors, more and more ills and sicks are becoming curable; as a result, in general, the death rate of older people has decreased. People are living longer after their retirement. This trend impacts individuals and society in many aspects, more or less. Society and government need to work together to mitigate some negative consequences.

Firstly, living may not prove to be consistently enjoyable for the majority of older people. Since the retirement pension plan doesn't foresee more extended retirement living, some may feel a shortage of money. Because the amount is not sufficient, some have to change their retirement plans. Moreover, an older age means health deteriorates yearly, depriving physical autonomy, especially when over 80.
