It is irrefutable that the world now demands enormous energy resources like gas and oil. As a result, people have to look for more natural resources from the remaining and unexplored areas. It has pros and cons, but I believe that the advantages of this practice outweigh the disadvantages as it benefits the productivity and development of society.

Proponents of such extractions think that the natural resources are a chance for remote areas to speed up development. Firstly, producing different energies, either oil or gas, brings more investment to that site. It will attract national and international enterprises to enter the area and set up various factories, like refinery firms. Therefore, the local people would get employment and boost the economy quickly. Erdos, for instance, is a great example. A sheep pasture 30 years ago is now one of China's leading gas production areas. The people, the economy, and the society have entirely changed.
