Due to the rapid technological progression, people can let themselves look younger. Some wish to look young because it means stronger, wiser, and more attractive in some job sectors. I believe it's a negative trend as it causes many harmful diseases and wastes wealth.

The main reason is that today's world is in heavy competition and everyone tries to beat others. A youthful appearance is becoming a core factor among rivals. In general, young is equal to vigorous and intelligent. Although lacking experience, it means a further future. Some job fields especially prefer attractive looks and beautiful faces to talents and knowledge. They judge candidates by their appearances rather than other attributes. Many people believe being young or looking young will bring more chances in working and living. A survey conducted by a newspaper 2018 reported that 7 out of 10 masses spent money to look younger; some even expanded most of their income on such treatments.
